Health education is a profession of educating people about health. Areas within this profession encompass environmental health, physical health, social health, emotional health, intellectual health, and spiritual health, as well as sexual and reproductive health education.

The World Health Organization defined Health Education as “comprising consciously constructed opportunities for learning involving some form of communication designed to improve health literacy, including improving knowledge, and developing life skills which are conducive to individual and community health.”

RMPE India (Rashtriya Mission of Paramedical Education) has been legally established by educationists & social workers. aims of the council is to provide better health education for the communities. Council has running and management of dynamic health education programs across the Country under the guidelines of W.H.O.

RMPE India (Rashtriya Mission of Paramedical Education) has launched 75 Health Education Related Courses to start through Training system and distance education covering the practical and theory in indicated centers across the country.
